Baptisms
If you are thinking of getting your baby baptised at Walworth, then the first step is to contact the Church Office who will take your details and give you information on the steps to take.
Baptism represents a commitment to the Christian faith and parents and godparents of children to be baptised must be baptised themselves. As parent and godparents you will be asked to declare your belief and trust in God and also make promises to bring you child/ godchild up within the Christian faith.
Baptisms are usually held during the 11.00 am Sunday services and sometimes during the 9.30 am service.
Funerals

A funeral is used to mark the end of a person's life here on earth. Family and friends come together to express grief, give thanks for the life lived and commend the person into God's keeping. These can be a small, quiet ceremony or a large occasion in a packed church.
Everyone is entitled to either a burial service (funeral) or to have their ashes buried in the local cemetary regardless of whether they attended church or not. Contact the church office for more information.
